From dagorhir Wed Feb 3 02:39:01 1999
At the meeting Sunday, January 31, 1999 the Queen Gwenhyvere hath made several decrees. Namely that:
ONE All persons attending battles or other kingdom events, with the exception of practices, MUST come in suitable garb. Suitable garb does NOT include: Jeans, t-shirts, any clothing with prints on it, tie dye, sunglasses, baseball caps, watches, or military camouflage.
TWO Rules and regulations appearing in the SCROLL of Anfalas with be strictly enforced. Anyone who has not read the scroll should do so immediately. A copy is available on the internet at: http://acasun.eckerd.edu/~dagorhir/scroll.html or you can go to Eckerd's main site and look up ECOS -> Clubs -> Dagorhir.
THREE Reparations for violating said rules and regulations will be made through service to the Kingdom appropriate to the nature of the offense. These reparations may include, but are not limited to: construction of kingdom weapons, sewing of weapon covers or garb for the kingdom, and cooking or cleaning for a feast or tavern night.
FOUR Insolence to authority, excessive insulting or abusive behavior, or continued lack of proper garb can also be offenses punishable as above.
FIVE Only weapons and armor which are Dagorhir legal and have been approved by the Armsmaster or Crown will be permitted at battles.
Saturday, January 6, 1999 will be "Void Day." ALL proficiencies for which ANYONE has been past will become null and void. Anyone who wishes to fight in Dagorhir Anfalas must be re-passed. This includes weapon styles and general combat. This is going to be as much of a pain to the Armsmaster as it will be to you, so please don't complain. Void day was deemed necessary because of concern over possible unsafe fighters, and questionable records of weapon proficiencies.
