Capture the Flag

The camping trip that was scheduled for this weekend has been postponed. Undeterminate interest, and lack of transport, tents, and a place to stay are the main reasons. Lady Charissa decided it would be better if we postponed camping until later.

Instead, we will hold a woods battle Saturday Evening in "the woods next to ASPEC". The area offers quite a varity of terrain with many posibilities. Saturday is the night of the full moon, and we also get an extra hour from Daylight Savings time. I figure that this will also allow people to get more work done, being a 3-4 hour event as opposed to an entire day.

We will meet at 6:00 and fight till about 10:00 or 11:00, having a capture the flag battle. Don't forget to bring flashlights and water.

Anyone who is interested in doing this, please let me know ASAP so I am not sitting around waiting all week.

THE GATHERING

The 31st is Halloween. It is also the time of the Gathering. For the next week, be sure to keep you blade close at hand, lest you loose your head. Next week, we are immortals, and in the end, there can be only one.

The rules are relatively simple:

  1. We engage in one on one combat;
  2. There is no fighting on holy ground, ie, the chapel;
  3. Mortals can not know about our existance, and can therefore, not see us fight;
  4. If you are injured, but not killed your wounds will be healed in one minute. If you are killed and your opponent does not take your head, you come back to life, healed, in 30 seconds;
  5. Come see me if you want to participate, you need to get a token that represents your power. I will also loan swords to those who do not have weapons of their own, come early, the best (and easiest to conceal) weapons will go first.
  6. Combat may take place 24 hours a day. Roommates MAY NOT try to take each others heads while they sleep, though others may.
  7. You MUST challenge someone and give them a chance to react before you decapatate them. (Immortals can feel each other coming.)
  8. Other rules will be added as people point things out to me.
