Vampire Battle

This is based loosely on a previous Vampire battle, and on my interperations of Bram Stoker's Dracula. This document attempts to list the key powers and weeknesses of our vampires.

Hopefully demonstrations of these rules will be provided.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All blows from a Vampire count as red/black.

Head Vampire takes 6 blue hits to the torso, and 3 blue to any limb; Reds and greens count for two blue.

Sub-Vampires take 4 blues to the torso, and 2 to each limb.

The head vampire regenerates 1 blue point every 5 seconds when not DIRECTLY involved in combat. If a vampire is killed it must immediately have a stake (green only dagger) driven into it's heart or it will regenerate and come back to life. The time required to regenerate is 10 seconds so keep those stakes handy!

Should magic spells be available, Vampires are immune to sleep, charm, cold, and electricity based attacks.

The head vampire is able to charm by looking you in your eyes and saying "I charm you" or "you are charmed." If this happens, you must do what ever the head vampire tells you. The head vampire may give you a list of things to do, which you must do at your earliest convience. After completing these tasks, you forget all about the charming, and who charmed you.

If someone is killed, they are dead for the night and may not fight or communicate information to their comrads. This applies to both Vampires and humans. At dawn, you will be "alive" again, in what ever context that may be. The only exception to this, is the head vampire, as is about to be explained.

The head vampire may change dead "mortals" into vampires by draining the mortal of blood and then forcing them to drink the head vampire's blood. The mortal may have been recently killed or visited by the vampire in their grave.

Holy symbols are what ever symbol represents your CHARACTER's religion. For a Catholic character, this would be a cross. However for elves, minatours, dwarves, gypsies, etc, this is NOT the case. As holy symbols are used to ward off Vampires, you each will probably want one.
Think about your character's religious beliefs and what symbol(s) would represent or, more appropriately, focus [that] power.
The only limitations are that holy symbols must cost more than $5, or take more than 30 minutes to make. This is to prevent someone from just picking up a stick off the ground and calling it god.

Vampires may be held at bay by forcefully presenting your holy symbol to them and calling on the power of your diety. This will keep the vampire back 5 feet. The vampire may not attack or charm at this time. If you break your concentration, or the symbol is no longer between you and the vampire, the vampire may quickly attack.

If a holy symbol is simply present, hanging about your neck for instance, a vampire may not directly approch, but may try to move around to the side or have something block the symbol.

Vampires must rest in their coffin for at least 1 hour every day. This will be constructed of cardboard, either a simple box, or two shaped pieces held together. The box must be at least 1'x0.5'x0.5' and two pieces must be 1'x0.5'. The coffin must be stored in a location that is easily accessable. Somewhere on the inside must be the label "coffin." When resting, a photo of the vampire is placed in the box. If a photo is not available, then simply a slip of paper with the vampire's name on it.

Vampires must also feed, by drinking blood, once every two days. Their victims may be members of dagorhir or one of the nameless others who inhabit our community, ie a non-player. During the day, a vampire's powers After dark, a vampire may not enter a dorm room unless invited.
