Abstract

The concept is about using the internet as a source or market for capabilities of their research and development teams and marketing department.  Typically the old way of doing research, development and marketing consisted of amassing a team of bright individuals and creating a think tank of sorts to come up with solutions and or new ideas.  Moving into the new paradigm companies are also using the World Wide Web as an extra component and person on the design team this has interesting effects on businesses and how they collaborate.
