AR denier, 19mm, 1.08 gr. Obv:HEINRICVS, central retrograde RIX. Besants between letters. Rev: a variation on VIRDVNI, mint is Verdun. R8672v legend unclear; B 169b. Also posted on HRE.

AR denier, 15mm, .64gr. Obv: IOhANNES, central bishop facing left. Rev: METENSIS, central cross with two stars and two coisants. The only clear letters are M_T_N_SI_. Mint is Metz. R8862; Boud 1628; Flon 6-7, 10(V1, p213-4).

AR gros, 27mm, 3.2gr. Obv: THEODC EPS METE, central figure with crosier. Rev: SIT NOME' D HI' . NRI' . IhV XPI BHDICTV outer legend; METES GROSVS inner legend. Mint is Metz. R-; Boud 1641; PdA-; Flon Thierry IV #6, vol 2 p511. He cites weights 3.22-3.37.

AR gros. 26mm, 2.76gr. Obv: +S*STEPH.PROTHO, central St. Stephen between two shields. Rev: +SIT NOMNE  etc outer test, GRO-SSV-S*T-ETE  inner text, central cross with * in each quadrant. Mint is Metz. R8932; Boud-; PdA-; seller (Singer) Wendl II/F/h/3.

Bill. denier, 14mm, .71gr. Obv: man on horseback. Rev: +NVEFCHATEL, center sword. Mint is Neufchatel. R9272. Seller ID Flou 97-98, p. 296. I am unfamiliar with this source.

Petit gros, 24mm, 2.38gr. Obv: +KAROLVS.DVX.LOTHOR.Z.M., standing duc holding a sword. Rev outer ring: +BHDICT.SIT.NOME.DNI(?).NGI.IHV.XPI. Inner ring: MONETA NANCI, central cross. Mint is Nancy. Flon Charles II (p433) #33v due to variation in the inner ring. Boud 1480, R-.

AR 1/2 Gros, 21mm, 1.135gr. Obv: RENATI.DVX.BARREN.Z.OTH.M, central small shield with insignia in the four quadrants. Rev: MONETA MICHAL, central sword bracketed by design. Mint is St. Mikiel. R9425; Boud 1492 (matching description of gros 1490); not in PdA.

1/2 plaque d'argent (or gros), 23mm, 1.51gr. Obv: +RENATVS:D:G:R:SI:IE:LO'O, central ecu of Lorraine, surmounted by a three pointed crown. Rev: +FECIT:POTEN..ITM:IN:BRACHIO:SFF, central arm holding a sword (arme sortant d'une nue). Boud. ends the reverse inscription SVO. R9482; Boud 1499v.

Bill quart de plaque, 20mm, 1.25gr. Obv: +RENATVS:D:G:S:I_ _ _O, central shield. Rev: +MONETA.FACTA.IN.NANCEO, central sword. Mint is Nancy. Flon Rene II (p569) #51-55v. Not an exact match since ...S:I...does not match any of the Flon coins. Boud 1502v; R9432v.

Rene was the victor against Charles the Bold in the 1477 battle of Nancy. Rene is buried in his family church in Nancy. The first photo is the interior of the church, the second is his tomb and the third is a detail from the tomb.
