AR obol, 14mm, .49gr. Obv: Archbishop with staff and book. Rev: Church. Mint is Koln (Cologne). Bon 1577. Seller id Hav 449.
Barbarosa gave the relics of the Three Wise Men to Reinald to take to Cologne. This made the cathedral and city a major pilgrimage site. Between 1190-1220 a reliquary was made to house the relics. The ends of the reliquary are solid gold.

Denar, 18mm, 1.28gr. Obv" HITAP-C-EPISCOP, central bishop holding a crozier. Rev: EA COTONIA, central church over three arches. Mint is Koln. Bonhof Cat 293 #1582 which cites Hav 549.
Philip is buried in the cathedral in Cologne. His tomb, raised above ground level, was constructed about 1330, long after his death. He was moved to the new cathedral and honored because during his life he helped the citizens of the city build their protective walls. The picture on the left is the effigy from his tomb.
