Analytical Chemistry at Eckerd College

Welcome to the home page for Analytical Chemistry (CH 212), a sophomore-level chemistry course for science majors. For most students, this course continues the study of chemistry begun in General Chemistry. The focus in Analytical Chemistry is on the basic principles underlying chemical equilibria and quantitative measurements, with a strong emphasis on aqueous systems. Since Analytical Chemistry builds on the knowledge and skills from previous courses, this means that you have already met and used several of the topics to be studied. Now you will get a chance to delve deeper into them and to see how they relate to aqueous systems such as seawater and biological organisms.
