General Information for this class:
· Class meetings are
MWF from 10:45-11:35 in SE 202.
· The
textbook is For All Practical Purposes, 7th ed, by the Consortium for
Mathematics and its Applications (COMAP), published by WH Freeman.
· My
office is SHA 110, tel. 8-8438, email zhaoj at eckerd dot edu. I will have
office hours as follows: Mon.1-7pm, Wed. 4-5 (by appointment only), Fri. 1pm-3pm (by appointment only).
· This
course has weekly assignments and projects.

- First midterm: Monday, March 5. Here
are some practice problems for the first midterm.
- There are two parts for the second
midterm: The take-home part will be distributed Friday, April 7 which is
due 10:45am Monday, April 10. The in-class part will be held on Monday
April 10 in class. Each part is worth 50 points.

- Second mid-term and the answers.
- Final exam: Wednesday, May 17, 2006,
12-3pm.
