Course Description:

Math 412002 Linear Algebra is intended for those students who would like to learn about linear algebra and some of its applications. The course is theoretical but with application to physics and computer science in mind.
Please note that math 412 can be counted only as a cognate course toward a math major starting in the spring semester of 2000. Math 412 can be counted as a regular math elective toward a math minor provided not both of math 370 and math 371 (or math 502 and 503) are counted toward the minor. These rules result from the overlap between math 412 and the combination of math 370 and math 371.

Homework:

An assignment is given each week and is due on Monday 11:00am of the following week. You don't need to hand in red ones. No late homework will be accepted. This rule is strictly enforced. But the two lowest scores of your weekly homework will be dropped when your final grades are calculated.
